LOCKDOWN REGULATIONS from 4 JANUARY…
We are allowed to leave our homes to attend public worship, but must keep all guidelines while in church. At this time care in keeping distance, use of face coverings over mouth and nose, and hand sanitising is vital. Please remember that the obligation to attend Mass remains suspended and that all our Masses are live streamed. Think carefully about attending in person, especially if you are vulnerable, caring for a vulnerable person or have a professional responsibility to others.
Please keep an eye on this website. Circumstances may change suddenly or it may become wise to change our Mass provision.
No further arrangements for baptisms can be made for the time being, except in an emergency.
Weddings are permitted only due to serious reasons
Funerals may have no more than 30 people present
We are now operating a ‘Track & Trace’ system so that everyone who comes to Mass should leave a name and phone number so that, if we are contacted by NHS Track & Trace, we may help inform people that might have been exposed to Covid-19. We ask that you leave a slip of paper with only your name and phone number, or alternatively you may give your details to a steward. Details and forms you might use are here Track&TraceForms
Thanks to our volunteer stewards and cleaners, we are able to be open for public worship.
The details of all Masses are on the news sheet.
If you decide to come –
You must not have any cold or flu-like symptoms
Please come wearing your face covering: they are compulsory in church
Please stay 2m apart from anyone you do not live with
Please follow the stewards’ directions at all times
Please remember that it is only by following guidelines and having extra cleaning that we may stay open
You should not come if –
You have an underlying health condition that makes you vulnerable
You are caring for someone who is vulnerable
You have any cold or flu-like symptoms
You are ill
You are not confident that it is right for you to come
